Major Skinks

Reptile_Fan2002 Mar 15, 2007 03:33 PM

Hello, has anyone ever heard of Major Skinks? I recently saw a few of the Major Skinks at the local herp show in Peoria, IL last weekend. I never seen any like those before they looked kinda cool looking. I've googled them up and seen a few pics of them tho. Thanks. Paul

Egernia frerei is probably one of my favorite skinks. They are easy to feed (mostly live insects and vegetable matter), easy to keep in a wid range of conditions, and almost as personable as blue tongued skinks. They are also very interesting to keep a colony of them in a naturalistic terrarium.
