i have a male pastel thats what i was told when i bought it wraped around the water bowl all day? the temps are fine hot spot 87-88 cool side 78-80 whats up with that? i have a few in a rack system and there all in there hides? my pastel is around 1100 gr maybe he is a she? i never tried probing or popping?

A lot of balls will wrap around a water dish,we have had them do it at all sizes, babies - adult male or female.
