veiled hard orange poops

hey folks, had our veiled for 3 months and just found an orange poop mixed with regular ones. first time this has occured. what is this. thanks for the help

If the part that is supposed to be white is orange it can be from dehydration....sometimes from what they eat. Some people also say its from oversupplementation.

thanks kinyonga, i think it's dehydration as we took the waterfall out of his cage. it would get mouldy even when cleaned and scrubbed twice a weak. now he's freaked over the change and won't drink from the dripper. we've been misting him and he gets a little that way. thanks for the heads-up and help. great forum.

Glad to hear that you took the waterfall out! They are very difficult to keep clean enough to be kept in the cage.
