Has anyone used the reptariums for their lizards.I noticed one of my collareds is scratching his nose on it, to where its nose is scratched pretty bad"""

I should say this is for the case of terrestrial lizards. For chameleons and other arboreals, perhaps they are fine. I had to use one for a while as I recently moved and had no other means to get my lizards in some sun. My chuckwalla snagged his toenail pretty bad while in there. A bulky lizard hanging from a toe is not good.

Using it for sessions in the sun for limited time should be no problems for collareds. too much time, and you may get the rubbed nose as you have seen.

I do not use for everyday living for collareds, only sunning during warm months. I have since stopped. I had one who rubbed putting a hole right through the screen /or at least a weak spot. And also BIG birds such as hawks were hanging around the roof-tops watching my yard

I have used them for agamas who love to climb as well as being terrestrial. With no problems, but my only major negitive about them is I feel as though I can NOT see them well, too dark, and I'm sure things look darkish for them looking out as well.

The best thing I think is a large aquarium, nice and bright, and great veiwing for us as keepers.

But some collareds especially wild caughts, still jump up to the top screen and get DISFIGURING nose rubs in them too. Hopefully they settle down, just put some neosporin or an antibiotic ointment on it for now.
