New suri hissing and biting!

matt_89 Mar 17, 2007 03:02 PM

I'm so happy, my new suri is finally acting lively. She hisses so loud you can hear it from the other room (big lungs for a baby boa I guess) and she can throw nearly her whole body in a good strike. :D

Isn't it amazing how LOUD they can be? I've never heard any of my hypo BCI or my BCC hiss, but my hog islands have hissed on a couple of occassions in the past (usually right after feeding if I walked too close to their cages)... and the times it happened, I was always surprised at how loud it was.

Yah, and it's amazing how long they can keep it up too.
