Wanted to know if it is Ok to keep snakes and rats in the same room? Both are in seperate racks. The rat rack has open tops and we were not sure if the dander or odor from the rats would harm the snakes.

it may not hurt them but it might hurt you, as you know they can smell quite well and they may get aggressive with all that smell of prey around.

I was doing that, Untill i got nailed, and I could tell she smelled the rodents she was tasting the air like crazy and my female nailed me two times just kept trying. I would not reccomend it unless your prrepared to take a few bites, they can smell it.
