Debate & observations

It has come down to a draw between the breeder and I over if these dragons are the same. She insists they do not look that much alike - I and other breeders I've spoken to see things differently.

Please review the pics below (at the link in my signature and go to "Comparison pics" album)and feel free to highlight differences that point out this can no way be the same dragon. I see them as being 100% identical, keeping in mind that some pattern spreadout may occur as animal ages. ( I really do not see any of these changes).

Do you see any more similarities that have not been shown yet?
Do you feel comfortable saying, yes - they are indeed the same dragon? If you do, am I able to use your response in my defense with the breeder?

The breeder asked that I not give her a bad name over a the refund...yes, she did offer, but I will not reship a dragon (stress issues) unless there is a major problem. She was pretty, so no major problem, but I still always have wanted the other baby if it were female. She said later she sent me one she knew was female and of good color. I did not want a switch, I may have purchased her anyway, but she never sent me a pic of the other to give me the option. I would have gladly waited for the one I really wanted for an accurate sex. I am under the impression that she thought she was sending the correct baby, otherwise, why sould she not have told me she would substitute a known female if I wanted?? Giving her a bad name over the refund has never been my intention.

I know many may not want to get involved, but if you do, bless you and may someone return the aid for you when you are in need.

Thank you all.

I do see the similarities, but it would be easier to see the similarities and differences if both shots were in the same position. Because in some pictures you can't see parts that the other one shows..if that makes sense...if this can be fixed i would be glad to help, thanks. But from what I see now, for the designs that you have pointed out, to the design on the head, and the band by the eyes, this looks to be the same dragon.

I am a "unknown" and "fairly new" to the breeder world, but I will be the first to answer this post and say that ......

Far too many of the markings match up on those two dragons for them to NOT be the same dragon.

I think it is good that you haven't mentioned names, etc and I don't know who this breeder is and I don't want to know.. all I know is that it isn't me Hahaha. I am just stating my opinion that this is the same dragon at different ages. It seems like someone regretted selling her for the price she did. Maybe she shed before going out for shipping and the breeder noticed the same potential that you had beforehand. I don't know, but fact is... you should have gotten the dragon you paid for!
