Gang, I've mentioned before I found an odor....he's been in the tank since 3/14. Yesterday he found a crevice under his basking site and now sleeps there....but he no longer basks. Very active first two days but today very little activity. I woke him up to eat and he ate some greens and a green bean. then went back under rock to sleep....Should i be worried?

It's not uncommon for them to disappear for a little while, especially after a big change. However, since you have a mysterious odor that you haven't identified yet, don't take chances. Get him (and a fecal sample) to the vet to determine what you're dealing with.

In my previous post to your thread below I advised you to take him to the vet and have a fecal done. It was deleted for some reason beyond me, but that is the best course of action. Stop waiting around and find an experienced reptile vet.

Today is Sunday, calling the vet that handles my box turtle tomorrow. SMell isn't as bad but I'm seeing white discharge by his nostrils....
