GCS Reptiles 4 zone thermostat

captnemo Mar 18, 2007 12:54 AM

I recently received a used one of these as part of a package deal. Only problem is that there were no instructions on operation, and I'm having a hard time finding info on-line. Can anyone be of assistance? Thanks in advance.

Does it have an LCD screen or red LEDs? I can probably get you the manual.
The unit is actually manufactured by HCS but GCS re-sold it for a long while. Hard company to deal with but one of the best products ever sold! Controls 4 zones independently from one base unit, built-in night drop and built-in alarm for $269. Compoare that to 4 Helix DBS-100s @ $140/each plus with the HCS you only have 2 power cords and it has the alarm feature. I've been using these in my breeding room for 3+ years now and love them. No, this is not a paid endorsement
I'd be happy to answer any questions about them and can probably get you the correct manual as I have several 'breeds' of them myself.
Best of luck,

Thanks-
It's the one w/ LED display and 3 small unmarked buttons to lower right hand side of it. That box has 4 probes coming off of it as well as another wire connecting it to the power supply, which has 4 outlets. Let me know if you recognize this and you can help, and I'll contact you through your site (a nice one BTW).
