Gravid female question

Buffysmom Mar 18, 2007 10:08 AM

My female is about 3 weeks along. Can I handle her during her pregnancy? I haven't held her since I put them together in December & I'm worried she'll get a little wild not being held for so long.

I personally never hold my snakes during this time. She will act like a wildcat after giving birth regardless, wether its from protecting babies, or the instinct to store up food. They'll be more reactive toward outside cage movements for a good month or two.
