Spike is a very "friendly" uro in that he's not shy at all and usually climbs my arm out of the cage as soon as I open the door. Today he clambered up my arm as usual, but didn't come up and out, just kept climbing up and falling off. Then I realized (as he left little white, wet smudges) that he was marking my arm as part of his territory. I've never had that happen before and found it a little bit funny (and a little bit gross).

El Toro what is the white stuff by his face an nostrils? i have one with the same thing and I got nervous that it's some kind of discharge....

In this picture, he was having a patchy shed, so some of it is old scales, some of it is salt - I just answered your question up above.
