Darkened veileds going outside...?

Buggzter Mar 18, 2007 02:25 PM

Since it's getting warm (mid-70's), i thought the babies would like some sun... So I moved the cage outside. As soon as I put them down, I noticed they were nearly black (they were bright green b4 the moved). It was another 4-5 minutes before they lightened up. Should I be concerned? I know it pry normal... The male has shed once in the two weeks we've had them, and both are eating as much as they can get right now. Thanks you guys! I'll post pics sometime so show you how pretty the boy is getting...

Well mid 70s is on the cool end to mid, so I'll put forward the idea that they were just regulating temperature for the first bit. Heating up.
