I have several kingsnakes but find alterna the most beautiful. I was thinking of going herping this May and driving from LA area to west texas in search of specimens for my expanding breeding projects. I was looking for any help I can get or even a teacher or buddy to go with who could show me how its done. I would be willing to drive and even try my best to make it worth your while to teach me anything you know. And if I end up going myself what am I going to try to do, and what exactly is a cut, what equipment do I use, etc. I have always purchased my snakes but think it would be much more rewarding to catch my own.
