How Long After Shedding for Eggs???

latin1956 Mar 18, 2007 08:25 PM

I have an IJ female that shed in 2/19/07, and as of today she has not laid her eggs. Lastt year she lad them 24 days aftter shedding. I would like to hear from others that breed IJ, as to how long after shedding have the eggs been laid. She is all in a knot and spends alot of time over the hot spot, which is 90F. Thanks in advance for the reponses.

21 days is usually pretty acurate. So, either she still has another shed to go, or maybe she is just going a bit long since you say that she is laying so unfomfurtable. Make sure you have a good comfurtable place for her to lay (good humidity and temp, and so she can feel hidden) and she should be just fine. Sometimes sheds are a bit off. Let us know what happens, fingers are crossed for you
