New guys!

KevColubrid Mar 18, 2007 09:20 PM

Hey all! I just purchased my first pair of trans-pecos rats today, I've been wanting these guys for a long time, and finally decided to take the plunge. Any general advice to give me? I'm really taken with these guys, I don't think I've ever seen a more gentle snake in my life, and both of them have already taken fuzzies for me. Thanks!
Kevin

Good choice Kevin.
Keep them dry and dont over feed. Randy W.

Yep, that's what I've heard. I've got them very, very dry, on aspen, at a comfortable 85 degrees on the hot end. They're taking fuzzies, from what I've read, feeding them every 10 days or so is adequate.
