Speckled king or sometimes called the salt & pepper king. Lampropeltis g. holbrooki. There a easy snake to find, just keep looking under the breeder section and classifieds, you'll find'em!

I didn't see any in the classifieds either,...but there should be plenty of hatchlings available this summer!..........I saw a list that "ISIS REPTILES" had from last year, and they had some "Lloyd Lemke" stock "holbrooki"!!!......I would check them out FIRST!!, and then go from there.......................Doug

Thanks-I just wasn't sure if I was missing them under a different name listing!

Just take your time and you'll find one your looking for. You'll even find some knockout adults from time to time. Here's an 06 I picked up not too long ago on the KS. classifieds. This gorgeous female came from Ben Siegel Reptiles.

Sometimes they are listed as holbrooki - which is the latin subspecies name.

You also might want to contact Tom Stevens- he breeds them, and has some of the nicest around. I think I overheard him say that his breeders were at it not too long ago... might even have some left over from '06.

Tom Stevens of tomssnakes.com breeds speckled kings, he even has a white sided morph that is strikingly beautiful. His normals are also very nice, with really nice speckling.
