first retic

hey all this is my first post

i am going to pick up my first retic on sunday and would like to get all the info you all have to offer how to care feed the hole bit i have several ball pythons and mygirl has a redtail so fill me in from there

first off because i have been told by several people that they are very similar to care for as a burm and i have done extensive research on the burms so i was wanting to find out the details thanks fo the link u sent me

Hahahahaha, Well, I can tell you that the feeding response is way different. They also grow fast. What kind of retic are you buying? You can go to NERDs website. They have a care sheet. After you read that then what questions you have you should ask. I like my retics more then my boa who tends to bite me just because. They are great snakes.

The basic in care bewteen Retics and Burms is pretty much the same. But I've found that all the Retics I've own don't like the same temps as my Burm and seem to need a higher humidity level where as my Burms liked things drier.
For me their feeding responses are the sames but the temperaments are different. My Burms are more "hissy" and uneven tempered then the Retics.

Again this is all in my experiences.

I agree and my African Rock Pythons rival my Northern Pines in the "hissy" department. As for the preferences you mentioned, I have observed the same. They are very different behaviorally as you stated.
