It's a secret locale...If you want to get your hands on this locale, I'd recommend jumping on Eve's tail and getting her breeding those lizards! She has about three males, Kong being one of them, and (I think four females) from the same area. Kickapoo and Ponka (If they breed) should be able to produce some females with very nice yellow heads as well. Unusual to find in the female aquaflames. Those two lizards come from an area in which I actually mistook a couple females for young males.
I met a rancher in this locale who has given me permission to hike is property. Very nice people, and even went the extra mile to offer my friend and I coffee and cake at 8:00 in the morning the first time I met them. The road I was on dead ended at there house in the middle of no where. I decided to go to the door and ask them if my presence was OK, and they were a couple of the nicest people I had met.
I've had this pair (Chili and Spice) for nearly 6 years now. They were my first two. Chili and Spice had no trouble adjusting to captivity. I had a very nice outdoor pen at the time (9 feet X 9 feet). Within a couple days, they were eating from my hand and allowing me to pick them up without and chase. Perhaps sprinking Benedryl on their food helped? Just kidding.
John
lol, its not a problem, I live in the UK so I cant poach, or buy from Eve either, good clues in your description though!!!!
I am not the best when it comes to species recognition, but if I ever win the lottery I'll be on a plane and bribing Eve, lol. Unless you're partial to bribery yourself, lmao

Just no lizards left for me to give away :O) That is why I send you to Eve.
Eve is so good to me. She takes care of lizards that were mine. I still see them thriving and I don't have to feed them or clean up after them anymore. How can I go wrong? ;O)
John Eddington
Bless her they couldnt ask for a better mom, as for cleaning up....... I was just reading UP the page a bit, and she's always got them in the tub, lmao.
I can picture it now, suds, shower cap and soap

Hahaha, Kelly, Don't know if you have ever had a uromastyx but I have a couple, and one is a VERY large egyptian lady, about 20 inches or so. When she goes in her cage, it's like a medium sized dog went, whewyyyyyyyyyyy...
You can only hope your fast responding before they walk it all over the place,
The smell will lead you to the scene of the crime,
Needless to say "CLEO" gets frequent scrub downs, LOL
She was a rescue many years ago, her back was severely burned to the bone, she endured so much but came out so dang docile.
Here she is going up to bed one night, LMAO

I only just saw your posts (Eve and Johne), but I know exactly what you mean, we use compressed hay and wheat for our Timor monitor's main substrate, he likes to fling it into his water bowl, bathe for a while, and ROLL AROUND in it, like a pig in mud so it sticks to him. He wont get in his water if its not filthy first, bless him !!
I dont like to bath him though, he is not the friendliest of beasts, and he likes to be pretty much left alone, fortunately when he poo's its only about twice the size of a collareds poo and is fragrance free, lol

I would love to have kept Sammy for myself. Spice is so dang small, I don't know if she will ever be able to produce any eggs LOL. We'll see. She looks like she's starting to blush. I'll be in OK City for a few days working. I really would like to go check out some collareds, but won't even have a chance this trip.
