Stuck shed?

ZoeS Mar 19, 2007 02:31 PM

My young red atb had a bit of trouble shedding this time round. The little turd likes to hang around behind the sytrofoam backing, where it's relatively dry. Anyway, I took out the styro and he's shed 90%, but he's got a little strip of stuck-on shed on his side. It does not come off easily.
Is it okay to leave it till his next shed, or should I soak him to get it off?

you can soak him if you'd like

but
one of my favorite methods is the Serpent Sauna:
-sterolite type tub with secure lid
-UTH
-wet towel

place wet towel in tub, place UTH under tub, put snake in tub
leave for a few hours
nothing like a warm 100% humid environment
the towel will also give the snake a good textured furnishing to help it remove the remainder of the skin on its own
or
it will at the very least make it very easy for you to help remove
