i posted this in the viper forums also but this one seems to get more traffic, i got this little guy recently, im not real sure what the exact species is, also any other info would be appreciated, right now i have him in a vision cage, with the branch thats in the pic, hes eating small mice, he doesnt strike the mice though,(i kill them first) but he just takes them off the tong gently like a treat to a dog, and then eats them, its kinda weird. i have a rattler that hits like train, i guess im not used to a "gentle" snake. hes, got a water dish, and i mist him every other day. the ambiant room temp is about 75 degrees, and the light cycle right now is 14 on 10 off. so any recomended reading, or advice is appreciated. thanks in advance.

I don't get this. While it's obvious you like your new pet very much, I don't think anyone should be keeping a venomous animal without full knowledge of the species first, especially the bite protocol.

Getting tagged by a species without knowing exactly what it is severely compromises treatment.

Am I the only one who feels this way?
