Sweet Peas

Does anyone know if Sweet peas are okay for tortoises? I tried them with my leopards and no interest. But when offered to my redfoots and my Mt. Tort they loved them. Any expierence good or bad?

Dr. Tom, peas should be used only as an occasional treat if at all - way too high in plant protein. See Highfield publications for info.

sorry, I was referring to peas and beans, I guess you are inquiring about the flowering sweet pea plant for which I have no info.
