Unexpected eggs....Help!!!!!

melnash Aug 12, 2003 04:32 PM

I bought a corn snake for my son on the 020803 for his birthday. Tonight I think she has laid three eggs. I wasn't informed at the pet shop she was pregnant and had no intention of breeding any little ones. I have tried referring to the information I have which doesn't help much as it assumes you know that your snake is pregnant and have all the kit ready. Is there anything I can do until I speak to the shop tomorrow to help the eggs survive???

Dont know whether this is too late but try to keep to eggs moist in paper towels or something like that in a cointainer with a lid on it so that the moisture doesnt escape. Also keep them somewheres at a temperature around 83 degrees or so. As long as they are warm and moist enough there should be no problem.

I,m not sure if this works, I,ve been told by someone who breeds iguanas that he puts them on top of his refrigerator. If your house is cold there should be a little extra heat from the back. good luck hope this helps.
