Hey Gary,
That one has a terrible skin condition. Typical of Petco...
I think it's similar to that skin problem that Michael Jackson has. I am sure I can treat it for you. Just send it to me and when I send it back...it will look normal again!
LOL!
Harlin Wall - WALL TO WALL REPTILES!
Heheh. If I every see a ball python like that at a petstore, I will be sure to convince the owner it has a terrible skin problem and nobody would buy it. But I will office to buy it for a discounted price LOL Or even offer to trade one of my normal babies for it. (if I have any at the time, if I don't, I will go buy one somewhere LOL)

The problem with the Michael Jackson BP is not only with the skin condition. They also seem to change genders. While still breeding with original, opposite gender, they have a tendency toward the occasional, younger, same gender lock-ups as well.
However, should this occur, I hear the "Pay Off" is substantial.

Lead us not into temptation. We can find it on our own.

First off, the shed was not dry, there was a large amount of moist newpaper from me spraying the tub off, sometimes, even the best plans do not work. No problem on her head, no retained eyecaps, and the shed came off easily the next day. Someone asked for a recent pic of that snake, so I took one and sent it to them. A little stuck shed, I live in Southern CA, it happens. Not all sheds are perfect, even though I spray the cages...nevermind, you just want to try and start something, I do not want this to turn into a 40 post thread on a stuck shed, feel free to email me. I know a troll when I see one.
First pic shows how I try to catch a snake in the blue, and spray them down...Second pic shows a full shed coming off, third pic is just a cool, in the blue pic. Not every shed can be perfect, not every bowl will ALWAYS be filled to the top, but we do our best.

I use to have alot of problems with shed when I was using Newspaper. Once I switched to cypress I don't think I have had a bad shed that I can remember. I love cypress mulch.

This is very true cyprus is great I use it and I dont have anymore shed problems it holds mositure very well and it allows me also to spot clean my tubs worth the price.
I know what you mean! We've been over this, I'm in the same area and I have the same problems sometimes. I'm hoping my switch to tubs will help, but only the test of summer will tell!
Beautiful snake, by the way.
