Two weeks without food.

hissyphus Mar 20, 2007 05:43 PM

Hello All,

I have an Eastern Indigo and I will be going to Nepal for two weeks. My question is. Provided he is well fed before hand, and has lots of h2o, would he survive two weeks without food? I will also turn the temp down a bit. My other snakes will be fine, but they don't have the Dry metabolism.

My concern is fresh water. you could always put 24 small bowls of fresh water and hope they are not all soiled upon your return! Food should be no problem for a healthy specimen with good body weight.
