that is really lightly colored from what I can see... is it the lighting or are they all like this in your area? nice looking snake

I've caught dozens from the same area and never had one look like this - The pics are the same - the 1st one is resized - the 2nd one is cropped and resized - taken outside in sunlight

Anerythristic all the way.Doesn't have the bluish waxy look to be axanthic.Very nice find and would be a cool project with the applegate albinos.
Were was it found? no need for exact locale just general area as the applegate albinos are from Lakeside. (san diego county).

I'm in neighboring riverside county (temecula to be exact) and I see annectans on a regular basis but never anything remotely similar to that color.

Beautiful! I've seen a quite a few annectens, but never one like that. Definitely different. Definitely a keeper.

Do you have any images of it that aren't in such harsh light so the true coloration can be seen a litle better?
