Too many states are added to the list of states under exotic legislative attack.
Too much to poste here, all the info is here:
http://www.rexano.org/DB_STATE.htm

Especially pay attention to Oregon bill, it is reported in the news as if it only added crocodilians to the list of animals pet shops can't sell, but it basically bans exotic pets if I am reading it correctly, original regs are going thru major overhaul, see Oregon PDF file,
http://www.rexano.org/StatePages/OregonFrame.htm

the italic wording is removed stuff and print in BOLD is added.
Basically, no exotic pets without being USDA or AZA prior to this act, and if u loose USDA license u have 30 days to dispose of your animals.
I try to keep updated but all these bills are overhelming, too many of them

Correct me if I am wrong, but reptiles are still not regulated by USDA, right?
So if OR exempts only the usual (research, wildlife sanctuaries, USDA and AZA), but if USDA pemrit is NOT available to croc ownerrs, then only AZA basically will have croc in ORegon in the future?

PS: English is my second language, so I migh be misunderstanding OR.

Grr, I was wrong, OR bill doens't exmept USDA holders, only research facilities licensed by USDA, plus AZA and sanctuaries, so typical AR AZA monopoly on breeding/keeping scenario
