AFT's are great. care is very simular to a Leo with the exception that they like a little humidity. they make great pets and are more docile than Leos. use your fav search engine and type in African Fat Tail Gecko and im sure youll find alot.

1.2.6 Tokays
1.4.3 Leos(6 albino)
0.2.0 AFT's
0.2.0 Stenodactylus Petrii(Dune Geckos)
They need no uvb lighting
In most homes they need no heating at all they like temps no higher than low eighties and do best in mid seventies.
They only need heat in the winter if your house gets cold.
They need misting once a day for some humidity.
They tolerate occasional handling and are easy to tame and not quick to bite.
They do not need huge cages.
and the best thing insects are optional you can feed them crested gecko diet which mixes easily with water andis like the consistency of baby food.
They also like fruit baby food but need protein also.
I breed them and have several adults and 10 babies so far this year. I just love them.
Tokays are as hard as nails but dont tolerate handling very much to say the least
Crested geckos are indeed very easy to take care of and breed quite readily once they reach maturity. They don't need UVB light, can be kept at temps in the range of 75-80 (so don't need extra heat unless your house is cold), can eat crickets or CGD or baby food or a combo of all three, they are easily handled and have great personalities! They also have several beautiful color morphs. Check out the Rach forum here on Kingsnake for more info.
