Spilotes egg temps?

Cribofan Mar 20, 2007 09:26 PM

So I got another pair of spilotes and this female was gravid and dropped what looks like some good eggs. What is a good temperature to incubate the eggs at?

Eggs look good! I incubate my Hondurans at 79F they hatch in about 85 days. I have incubated higher 84F with good results and they hatched at 65 days but a couple hatchlings had very mild kinks near tail. I have hatched lower than 79F but had poor results with a couple weak hatchlings and one that piped and died.

That's awesome! Congrats! We'll be looking for baby pics in about 85 days then.

Thanks Bill and Bill. Hopefully I will be able to post pictures of 6 baby spilotes by the middle of June.
