Its perfectly legal, CITES really has no bearing here in the USA, here its the Endangered Species Act (ESA) ... CITES is actually less restricting!!

Animals listed as Threatened or Endangered on the ESA can not be sold in interstate or foreign commerce without a permit issued by USFWS which is rarely if ever issued.

If a Threatened or Endangered animal is sold within 1 state and the animal doesnt cross state lines in commission of the sale then its fine and 100% legal.

By the way, I checked Robbies (glades) website and the KS Croc add's, I didnt see any Dwarf Crocodiles listed?

Maybe you ment Global Herp?? Yea they have all kinds of stuff listed, but good luck getting a hold of Hank ... and even better luck getting him to actually produce the animals!

Also, I forgot to mention, there is a USFWS permit called the CBW permit which allows people/facilities to freely buy and sell endangered and threatened species across statelines, provided both the buyer and seller are both CNW permit holders and that both the buyer and sellers CBW permit is registered for that paticular species.

do you know of anywhere else to get one?

Power feeding an crocodilian is not good at any time for the animal. These animals aren't made to grow six feet in a year. Saltwaters or niles have the quickest growth rates. The average for these two species is two feet for the first couple years. The grow really slows down as the animal gets older. I have heard that hybrids grow quickly but we don't work with any hybrids. Ronnie
