Egg Windows?--Help!

SnakeRookie Mar 21, 2007 10:46 AM

I have a egg that's getting spot on it that I think I've read here described as a "window".
I think I read something here about putting something on it like liquid band-aid or second skin or something like that.

Does anyone know what it is or where to get it?

Thanks!

You can find liquid band-aid at just about any drug store - just cover the window portion - and cover it before it starts to spread - if you have to use the band-aid on too large of an area it could suffocate the egg.

Good luck!

I had an egg like that last season. It was attached to a dead egg, and once the bad egg was removed left a "window" similar to what you described. I didn't put anything on it, just left it....and actually enjoyed watching the little guy grow in his egg!
