A couple more of the patternless sibs

skyslinger Mar 21, 2007 05:24 PM

Just bored and thought I would post the two patternless siblings pics again. They are 2 years old now. Hope to breed them next season to an 03 harlequin male and at least produce some possible hets.

Just wondering but what exacaly makes them patternless. I mean in a visual scense because i can clearly see the classic Boa pattern. What defines this morph?

Many thanks. Lorie.

were born with. There were three other siblings also but only the one female patternless and these two female siblings still exist. The father also passed. So it will be a while before it will be known if it is genetic most likely.

the other was the sibling again. BTW These pictures were taken by me but the patternless belongs to Brendan Magee of BCI By Design.

Is there any BCC or BCA blood in the patternless line. The pattern and short tails on the sibs point to some sort of BCA mix. I know the father has passed, but do you have pics of the mom?

Thanks Vinnie Caruso
opinons are like a--holes... everybody has one and they all stink

a cross of some type of BCC or BCA. I will definitely be holding back all of the "pssibly" 50% possible babies. They will be bred to another Harlequine and of course they are both Harlequines as well. So the babies will be awsome regardless! Them Magee boys have some of the most amazing boas known to man, unfortunately they don't like to show them in public for some reason. LOL

if the patternless thing is recessive, then the sibs will be carrying the gene, right?

IF it is recessive they MIGHT carry it.

Not a big a deal except for the fact that people do not admit to it. Look at the sibs of the patterless and you tell me if they look like typical intergrades/crosses.
