nile monitors cont......

OK I ment does anyone have a nile that is truelly tame I have 3 crocs 5 burms and I just got rid of my 5ft nile I know what I'm doing I'm not stupid or inexsperienced.....

The answer to your question below is, Yes, there are. But I have to ask, what does that have to do with you. As how tame a monitor gets is based on many things. First the keeper. Then the individual monitor, the species is way down on the list.

Being a nile only makes the percentage of being tame, lower then some other species.

The important part is the keeper, and their knowledge, their experience, their touch, their patience and their resources.

If you had experience, you would know that. Cheers

You don't have enough experience keeping monitors. When you get more experience keeping monitors, then you can keep monitors. For now, get a trout.

you really have to know a person to assume that... I used to have niles as well as savannahs I keep crocs burms bps and just got rid of my 5ft nile the only reason i'd have a trout is for the gators mabye... so perhaps you shouldnt judge the book by its cover...

What were all of your resaults with those animals? How old was your nle? How long was it in your care? Why did you get rid of it?

my results were great my big pair of burms is breeding my one gator has already grown to 5ft my nile was almost 5ft when I sold it and I got rid of it beacause my friend had a huge empty cage and wanted it since I got it so I sold it to him cheap to....
