I am trying not to get my hopes up. But I can't think of anything else it could be. At first I thought it was just something that got stuck to him while cruising her cage. But as I pulled on it I found that it was actually partially in his "penal cavity" (not sure if males have a cloaca) So is this part of a "love stain?" AKA is this dried sperm that was stuck to him?

I think some things are deleted randomly just to keep us on our toes....lol. I just wish they'd realize that people wouldn't repeat the "mistake" if they knew WHY things were deleted. They just nixed a LONG thread on another forum with lots of good information for some (unknown to me) reason. It sorta makes one leary about spending time making a long, informative, reply, doesn't it?

I used to make long, detailed replies. Some threads got deleted - too much work to see wasted. Only short replies now. Or cut and paste an FAQ - easy!

Yes,..that's what it is,"sperm plug",...also, ALL snakes have a cloaca!, that's what the "common" opening is called in all reptiles, regardless of sex..............................Doug
