my sister is doing some traveling to both europe and australia and i was wondering if she would be able to bring pets back for me from these countries on a commercial flight....i'm not talking about wild caught specimens, but rather animals from european and australian pet stores and breeders....in particular i am thinking about crested geckos, ball pythons and invertebrates if that makes a difference.....anything you guys would know about the logistics and legality of this would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

you would probably need a permit for exporting animals from europe. as for australia, they are very strict about fauna exports, hence export of native fauna, even cb, is banned. the penalty for smuggling something from down under is very hefty.
hope this helps.
