Please, PLEASE someone help me.
My daughter bought a MHD, from Petco (ugh!) he came so ill. When I took him to the vet I found out the little guy already was suffering from 'rot mouth'. I'm a turtle keeper and completely unfamiliar with MHD's. The MHD in our home is "FARO".
I went thru a 10 day period of giving him the antibiotic Baytril. I've been having to force feed/water him. He did weigh in at a meesily 5 grams, he has put on weight, however, he is still seeming so lifeless.
I do not mind having to hand feed/water him for life, but he's ALWAYS sleeping. I've NEVER seen him do anything but lat listlessly in his enclosure. He doesn't go to his water (he has a enclosure right off of the care pages here. Air stone in large h20 dish. I do keep turtles, so I have a never ending supply of worms and crickets, he just isn't intrested.
PLEASE, my daughter and I have grown to love FARO sp much, but he isn't healthy and the vet in our area seems to not know what to do for him.

Also, I've tracked a user by the SN of JOE MHD this far, he seemed to know MHD's. If anyone can pass this along, or advise me as well, please do so.
