We got a clutch of eggs (27 - 25 good, 2 slugs) on March 12th. Here are some pictures of the parents and the eggs. By the way.... that is a dwarf male burm and an albino granite female.

The male was imported in 2003 as an adult and is still ONLY 5 1/2 feet long.

Do you have a female "dwarf burm" to breed him to? Mixing him with a "reg-size" burm will not in my opinion create dwarf albino granites, this has been proven with the many retic "super-dwarfs" still hitting 12-15 feet when bred to a "reg-sized" retic. Although, I do believe that if you keep and breed the babies together you will get a "smaller version albino, but I wouldn't call it a "dwarf" by any means, that male is a "dwarf" and is an interesting animal. I would like to see a "dwarf to dwarf" breeding and see what the babies turn out like on a heavy feeding regimen. Good luck and post those hatchlings!!! Such a breeding (dwarf/dwarf) in my opinion would be worth paying more money for a neonate than an albino granite supposed dwarf mixture. It is watering down the "dwarfs" genetics.

We have 2.3 dwarf burmese pythons. 1.3 are imports from Japan and weren't ready to be bred. They are all right around 4 feet long. They should all be ready to breed next season.

We are trying to incorporate the various morphs into the dwarfs. We also bred this male to a leopard burm (homozygous green and labyrinth)which is due to lay within the next week or so.

All of the resulting offspring will be sold as half dwarf double het for albino and granite or half dwarf double het for labyrinth and green patternless. We have plans for further reduction in size to get these animals back as close as possible to the true dwarfs.
