Lay boxes

i am moving my lizards outside(9) to a 4' x 7' cage where they were last year but finding eggs was a chore,and was thinking of keeping the main substrate thin and put lay boxes in each corner . any thoughts for boxes and substrate (Ive GOT sand).Thanx Chris

you can make a box but it schould be 12-14 inches deep ,deeper is better.
you can use moist potsoil,r moist sand,r mixed those two togheter .
