I believe you got those right and that the offspring would be hypo dble het for snow. Not 100% sure because I can't remember if sunglow is hypo amel or if it is something else.

As far as hypo being co-dom, the only codom gene I know of in cornsnakes is the ultra gene which is co-dom with amel. Although it is, from what I've been told, fairly widely accepted that the ultra came from a hybridization in the past so you could still say all the pure corn morphs are simple recessives.

does the no substrate method work for corn eggs? it works awsome well for me atleast for python eggs and just currious as to if it will work out for corns also. and thanks for the info

Are you referring to putting the eggs in nylon stalkings, and suspending the eggs in a container(jar) of water?,....if so, I've read this method also works with Milk, and cornsnake eggs pretty well....although most(including me) use substrate, and keep at a "target" temperature of 81-83 degrees......if you've had good success with this method, I don't see why it won't work just fine for you again with Cornsnake eggs!..............Doug

I've read several posts were people mentioned doing it.
I don't remember seeing any negative feedback.
Seems like it would work fine as long as temps and humidity are maintained.

hypo is simple reccesive.

Although there were a few people that used hypo to help eliminate the white in their sunglows you would be hard pressed to find a sunglow that was anything more then a selective bred amel.
A ghost is anery/hypo and the sunglow would most likely be amel so you would get normals het amel het anery het hypo.

are not het for other traits, going by just this "face value", you will get ALL normals that are "triple-het" for all three traits.....Like "draybar" stated, hypomelanism is a 100% recessive trait, and is NOT like it is in boas!...hope this helps you out..........................................Doug
