I was wondering why it is so hard to find normal burms any more it seems that noone has any of them. So I was wonder if there was a reason for this

Thanks

People want to breed a snake thats worth more. You gotta eventually put a lot of time and money into the animal-might as well get more for the babies. And besides, ALL burms are hard to come by now. Albinos used to be a 50 dollar snake, and now they are 200 and up.

You just don't know where to look! I still see tons of them.

i know where to look-but it's harder now than ever for stores to obtain them. They're not ALWAYS available. Large normals are easy to find and cheap but not babies.

lol.... I think this is kinda funny- as I sit here looking at the 3 I have (plus 2 albinos).... I can't help but laugh. I adopted 2 out a week ago- which brought my "regular" burm count down to 5 (and one on the way next weekend)...

I think that as the "trade" moves up in genetics and down in prices- regulars are just... I guess boring.... I love them- none of our regulars have ever been the same. I think they're fantastic- but then again, thats just me....

I don't know what you're planning for a regular burm, but you might look into a rescue if you want one.... just an idea...
