My kids came home with a bucket full of young (i am guessing) tiger slamanders.
i say they are young becouse they have not gotten their yellow spots yet, well they are there but very faint.
any way we have a park near our house with a large horse shoe pit thing, it has about ten "pits"?
they are on a hill just above a very shallow pond and the pits are full of clay(wet clay) and the tigers look to be trying to burrow in them.
the news is that the neighbor kids are up to their ears with tigers too.
the problem is that the next horse shoe contest could be deadly for the tigers, what would you do????
what should the tigers be doing this time of year and what has drawn them to the pits????
let me know what ya think.
