I went to get my fuzzies to day and they had none, so I picked up some rat pups instead.
My question is are they as good as crawlers for my yearlings? Everyone says one fuzzy is better then 2 pinkies because the bones contain more calcium. Does the same go for the rat pups? I know that have a higher fat content, but what about nutirition?
many people prefer rat pups over mice,...I don't know what the exact nutrition to weight ratio is, but I wouldn't doubt if they are slightly more nutritious than mice of the same weight....in any case, if they go for the different scent of rats, I say rock on with the rats!!LOL I do whenever possible!............Doug

You may notice that their poo may be runnier. I fed some of my snakes rat pinks last year, and 1 of them had some very runny stuff. I was worried, so I took a sample to the vet. It came back negative. Derek
