I have a one year old amelanistic that used to be real active and eat well. He recently regurgitated and now won't take food. Why? What should I do?

How long ago did it regurgitate? You should always wait 7-10 days after a regurge to try feeding again. This allows the digestive enzymes and stuff to build back up. There are many reasons why it may have regurged, from low temps to too large prey. Most snakes will start eating again, I wouldn't worry yet.

I agree with the other reply...wait a bit to retry. At least a couple days. What size prey is it eating? Have you recently gone "UP" in prey size from a hopper to small adult mouse or something? What's your heat at? Corns are pretty hardy and eat well so it's likely not a problem. HOwever, should he refuse the next meal then you may want to post another message stating that. If you have just increased the size of the mouse, go back to the old size and feed 2 of that size. then try the increased size again in a couple weeks. good luck, and keep us informed.
