Third hurdle crossed..

epidemic Mar 23, 2007 12:52 PM

Returned home from the office yesterday to find one of my mottled D. m rubidus females in her nest box with 15 eggs. Hopefully, the second female isn't too far behind. So far as I am aware, this is the first captive clutch of eggs produced by 1.1 mottled D. m rubidus in the US, or perhaps anywhere...

Best regards,

Jeff

Even better news is that you've come out of hiding! You had us worried for a while.

It will be really cool to see what those guys look like when they come out! You'll have to post comparison pics of the mottled vs. the "common" rubidus babies.

Like everyone else, I wish you hungry, healthy hatchlings!
