Photo Request: Albino, Anery & Snow Boa!

kaydee Mar 23, 2007 03:16 PM

Hello folks,
I'm picking up unrelated 1.1 '07 DH Snow BCI from Bob Clark during the September Hamm Reptile show in Germany. I'm paying $1,000USD for the pair. Is that a decent price? I'm in Ireland here, so the only chance of getting these snakes is from a breeder at this show. Obviously when the pair are old/large enough to breed, I plan to have them do so! Producing Albinos, Anerys, a Snow or two! Normals and of course, all of these of course being poss het for the trait they are not showing! With this in mind, I would be very greatfull if you folks could post for me, some pictures of your Snows, Anerys and Albinos. I'd also be interested in hearing and seeing your results from DH Snow breedings!

Regards, Kieran

This is a picture of my Anery Het Snow girl. She is a snow sibiling. Don't own any Albinos or Snows, but I'm sure others will post some for you. Good luck with your pair!

What were the parents? I'm pretty new to Boa morphs... however I'd guess: albino het anery/anery het albino to snow breeding? I'm slowly getting the hang of it!

Nice looking anery! I love real dark tails like that. I have an 04 girl that looks like she could be a sister to yours.

Hey, pricing is decent if you think it is. I would expect Bob to have top notch animals and therefore would command a higher price. I've seen them lower in the KS adds but that's not necessarily the same quality.

Here's some of my Albino's and Anery's Many of which are either het or possible het for the other. I don't have any snows...yet

The boys,

Your snakes are stunning! Are all those Kahl strain? I'm not a big fan of carol albinos though... Do you have any pictures of the snakes in more nature like settings? Any of you holding them? Well, I'm more than happy to pay $1,000USD for the pair, just for the fact that in a few years time I'll have some morphs of my own and if all goes well, a few extra to sell/swap!

rainbowsrus Mar 23, 2007 05:36 PM

Thank you, they are all Kahl strain. That's part of the beauty of this hobby, there are soo many looks to pleas ethe various preferences. I love the corals, the more red the better!! I'm looking forward to coral sunglows!! Wow!!

That's the way to look at it! If your happy with the price then it's a good price!!

Sorry, no outside pics, I like the simpler backgrounds, nothing to distract from the snake. And I suck at outdoor pics...lol

Yeah, she is sweet, and she came just in time to take that pic and get it into John Berry's Designer Morphs book, page 247. I have to admit, it's way cool to have her in there!
