Hi all, im planning another trip to daytona in august. I plan on bringing about $1000.00 to spend on a snake or snakes...Part of me wants to buy a cinny or a mojave and a pastel, all being dom or co-dom (not sure which) and then part of me wants to go with a pair of het pieds.....then part of me wants to buy one codom/dom and a recessive to try to produce something with multiple traits...what would you do with 1000.00? sorry for the rambling, im just not sure what to do...any suggestions would be great...thanks..

Do not tell anyone I am telling you this, but, chances are, you will spend more on you Ball collection that you make on your Ball collection, so buy WHAT YOU LIKE! If you buy an animal that you do not like, but think will make you rich, chances are you will be staring at a snake that you do not like, for awhile, before you have any money coming in. If it was me, I would buy a nice male ghost and a Het female ghost. OR, a couple of Het female ghosts and buy a nice male ghost next year.

Even if you had a plan, you know damn well, it would go out the window when you go down and start shopping! You really can't answer that til you find out what kind of deal you can strike! My suggestion would be, wait til Sunday!

Like Ember...I mean "Someone Else" said, get something that you like. I bought a het albino in Arlington. Even if it never produces albinoes, he is nice looking. It would be better to have $1000 worth of snake you like than $1000 worth of snakes that aren't producing.

That said, if it were me, I'd find some nice looking het pieds or a Homo. Albino. But I already have a pastel and a cinnamon.

Lead us not into temptation. We can find it on our own.

Decide what you like and what your goal is and what time frame if any you have to work with - you got 5 months to decide and change your mind a few times - you never know by Daytona someone might pop out something really special that you'll have your heart set on producing.

Have fun!!

eat well drink well and have fun and you can spend $400 to $600 of that no sweat on being in Daytona and not get any snakes.......

.....I spent $600 on stuff and 2000$ ,$400 , and $1800 on snakes........

money goes fast......

.........

BUY what YOU want to have...........

Buy your animals on the net and then have a nice vacation.
You might be able to get all co doms for a grand in 2007.

Like everyone said buy what you like, having said that if what you like is what you listed i would get a Female pastel and a Male Cinny, only b.c a male cinny will produce possibly more profitable babies when he does breed (granted they could also be the same price as pastels by the time he decieds to breed) Also its always nice having big pastels females or any morph for that matter... Plus pewters are great looking animals with tons of potential such as silver streaks and bullets and super cinnys. I love Mojaves but that is a personal opinion. But definatley buy what you love to look at and not what "could" make more money in the future, looking back over the years it is impossible to tell
