Another question regarding feeding

Waguy82 Aug 12, 2003 07:49 PM

I was on the Bearded Dragons & More website (www.vandivers.com) which is a sponser of this site and they had information regarding feeding bearded dragons. There is directions on how to completely wean a bearded dragon onto rep-cal thus eliminating the need for crickets. Of course there's still the additional feeding of greens, but rep-cal would become the staple. According to the website, they've done this since 97. Does anyone else do this?

I bought an 18 month old female from the vandiver's last April and I had 2 - 9 month old dragons who were still on crix at the time. I decided since the female I bought from them wasn't on crix I was going to take my others off crix too. Within 2 weeks they were all on pellets/greens no crix at all. I am now trying to get new hatchlings (from thier female) to eat greens/pellets so I won't have to feed them crix!!
