I just want to thank all those who helped with the post on doing herp demos for kids. I had the opportunity to do a presentation for four 4th grade classes, 30 1-2 graders, and 30-40 4-5 year olds. It was an all day deal at an area school. The info you guys posted on where to go with conversations and topics were perfect. The day went with no ordeals and no bites. A few snake haters became fans. It is good to get a positive view out to the public.
I was thanked by the principal, assistant super, and the teacher and asked to return whenever I wanted. I thank you all again for helping to promote the positive side of an awesome hobby. It was great to do what I enjoy and to educate at the same time.
