How large do Bairds ratsnakes typically get? Do males get larger than females?
Thanks for the info.

Mine are over 5' now and almost 6 years old. My female started out growing much larger than the male, but now they are about even. When she is gravid, she is almost as thick as my wrist.

Thank you for the info. I only have one Bairdi and a rhino ratsnake. The rest of my snakes are kings and milks. I'm really enjoying watching my Bairdi change colors.

The color change can be spectacular.
If they get to a stage where they are getting a bit 'dirty' or brownish, you can rest assured that eventually they will turn almost all orange. If they are pretty much gray with red in between the scales at 1.5 - 2 years, then they will likely stay that way, only brighten up.
I hope this makes sense.
