I have an older adult pair of easterns that I haven't had very long, on the female right before the vent shes skinny then after the vent she gets fatter again, i'm wondering if this is a sign of overbreeding? I've attached pics and any info would be greaty appreciated.

I think the animal in the first pic might not be an Indigo. Most Indigos lack the green scales, legs and eyelids.

As for the other two pic's. It almost looks like a males' tail, with a bulge where the hemipenes are. I certainly can't say why a female's tail would have that look.

If you're concerned about her being overbred, give her a year off from breeding, and don't overfeed her in the meantime. Let her recover.

I had a male black pine with a similiar lump and it turned out to be an infected scent gland. After several unsuccessful treatments with antibiotics, I had the vet remove it.
