will they eat each other?

Is it okay to keep two snakes in the same cage? Both of them are the same species, but I am not sure if they are Texas Garters of Western Ribbons. One is an adult, the other is quite small, about 11 inches long. Will the bigger one eat the smaller one?

If your nursing a sick or injured snake that may only eat when no one is around due to stress, how will you know if the injured snake ate or the ribbon snake ate? You wont, because if the injured snakes only eats one fish, it wont show enough for you to know. Remember, always count the amout of fish you put in the bowl so you will know if it ate.
